The main area of study is the everyday maintenance of vehicles.  Safety, Preventive Maintenance, and PA State Inspection are the highly-stressed areas of the course.  Other areas include Tools, Bearings, Seals, General Vehicle Reconditioning, Tires/Wheels, Hydraulic and Air Brakes, and Heating/Air Conditioning.  Employment is good in this area at truck/auto dealers, area rental fleets, Sears, K-Mart, Pep Boys, etc.
