The Electronics Technology/Nanofrabrication course progresses from the construction of simple circuits to the complexity of nanofabrication. Nanofabrication is used in the production of semiconductor devices. In addition, this course teaches hands on applications of electronics.
In today’s world it is difficult to think of an occupation that does not use electronics. From airport security to the latest biomedical technology advances, electronics effects every part of our lives.
While the electronics industry covers a wide range of occupations, these occupations have some things in common. All electronics workers share a language of terms and symbols, a knowledge of certain theories and essential skills. This course will introduce these basic electronic terms and theories.
After successful completion of this program the student can obtain:
>IPC solder certification
>PA State Skills certificate
>Mobile Electronics Certified Professional Certification
>Articulated college credits at:
Pennsylvania College of Technology or
Lehigh Carbon Community College
