SPECIAL EDUCATION SERVICES
The Supervisor of Special Education coordinates with the nine sending school districts to ensure that a copy of each student’s IEP is on file in the Student Services Office and will be available to the appropriate staff. A representative from LCTI attends the district meeting and provides input to the IEP. Instructional Assistants provide support services in the lab and academic classes.
The Service Occupation Cluster Labs (S.O.C.) are overseen by the Supervisor of Special Education. These labs are for students who require a small group setting to learn, intense support with math, reading, and support to master skill competencies. Prior to enrollment, a skills assessment will be done to determine the readiness and interests of the student. Results of the assessment will be provided to the parent and sending district.

SPECIAL NEEDS COMPLIANCE
In compliance with state and federal law, the Lehigh Career & Technical Institute follows each sending school district's Indiviualized Educational Program (IEP) and Section 504 Service Agreement that has been designed by the sending school. If a parent or guardian believes that the school-age child may be in need of special education services, he/she should contact the sending district's guidance department for more information.
