Lehigh Career & Technical Institute offers competency based training courses for persons who are employed or subcontract to nonprofit agencies and local governments who administer home energy conservation assistance under the Weatherization Assistance Program.
Tractor Trailer Driver Training - CDL- The Lehigh Valley's only training program certified by the Professional Truck Drivers' Institute (PTDI). One-on-one driving. Full time and part time classes. New sessions start every month. CDL/B classes also offered. Ask about our specialized Dump Truck Operator Training. LCTI also offers many combination training courses that involve CDL/A, CDL/B, Dump Truck Operations, Heavy Equipment Operations and Forklift Safety Logistics. Check with coordinator of training to set up a special combined course that suits you.

Heavy Equipment Operations - LCTI's heavy equipment operator training program is specialized to shape you for a career in the construction industry. Safety, operating techniques and basic maintenance of track and wheel loaders, skid steers, backhoes, excavators, bulldozers and off road dumps will be covered. Receive training on fourteen modern pieces of equipment in different sizes and manufacture models. Basic surveying, construction math, OSHA trenching regulations, along with erosion & sediment control techniques are to name only a few topics that you will receive lectures on while training to become a heavy equipment operator.

Accelerated Career Education System (ACES)-ACES provides a pathway to earn an Associate's Degree in Applied Technology through LCTI and Lehigh Carbon Community College (LCCC) in the following programs:

- Auto Body Collision- ASE/NATEF
- Welding Technology - AWS
- Print Technology
- Precision Machine Technology - NIMS
This program is designed to also offer national skill certification through a recognized national skills test.
