If you have any interest in assisting in residential, commercial, and industrial electrical and Power Technology planning or wiring, the Electrical Technology Program at LCTI might be for you. Combine the practical and the theoretical, and begin and exciting adventure toward a career in electrical technology. In LCTI’s Electrical Technology Program you will receive hands-on learning, have an opportunity to be part of an apprenticeship and participate in our optional internships. Each step of development is completed at your pace.
Each year LCTI offers the opportunity for students to participate in the student-built house project, a home designed and built by LCTI students. Electrical Technology students do the wiring in the house and in the course of their training at LCTI they have the opportunity to progress from residential wiring to industrial wiring using equipment and systems currently used in the construction industry.
