Learn More About Welding Level 1

Have you ever wanted to create something from metal or repair something made of carbon steel, stainless steel or aluminum? Enrollment in the Welding Program at Lehigh Career and Technical Institute is an excellent learning and hands-on experience for your future career as a welder.

Our Welding Program operates under Entry Level Certification authorized by the American Welding Society. We have customized our training for companies such as Mack Trucks and East Penn Manufacturing Company, Inc.

When you begin your welding education at Lehigh Career and Technical Institute, you are preparing yourself for future education at a post secondary institution. In fact, Lehigh Career and Technical Institute has a special agreement with Lehigh Carbon Community College (LCCC) that will enable students to earn a national skills certificate in addition to an associate’s degree.

Be one step ahead of the rest by starting here at Lehigh Career & Technical Institute. We provide the path to your career success.

Welding processes taught at LCTI are Shielded Metal Arc Welding, Gas Tungsten Arc Welding, Flux Cored Arc Welding (gas shielded and self shielded), Gas Metal Arc Welding (all transfer modes), Oxy-fuel cutting and plasma cutting.
