PA State Safety Inspector

PENNSYLVANIA SAFETY INSPECTION MECHANIC TRAINING PROGRAM
LCTI offers a PA state mandated training program and test required for technicians to receive their state inspection license. Applicant must complete the lecture course, pass a written test and satisfactorily perform a complete inspection of a vehicle. Upon successful completion of these requirements, the applicant will receive a safety inspection certification card in approximately six to eight weeks from the ending class date. An optional three hour tools class that provides hands-on use of measuring tools used for the state inspection is also available.

Prerequisite: Applicant must be 18 years of age and have a valid operator’s license for each class vehicle he/she intends to inspect.

Program Schedule: 
Monday, May 28th – 6pm to 10pm                                 Book/Theory
Tuesday, May 29th – 6pm to 10pm                                 Book/Theory
Thursday, May 31st – 6pm to 10pm                               Tool Class-Written Testing
Saturday, June 1st – Scheduled by the instructor        Tactile Test

Cost:

Program Total Cost (CAT I or CAT II & Tool Class): $225.00
Addition of Category II (if testing for CAT I): $45.00
Addition of Category III (if testing for CAT I): $110.00
Program Total Cost (CAT III only & Tool Class): $275.00
