Reading & Language Arts Levels

  • College Prep Reading and Language Arts
  • Adequate oral and written communication skills
  • Grade level or above reading & writing skills

  • Fractions, decimals, business math

  • College Prep Geometry

End of Year – 12th Grade Assessment Test

  • NOCTI

Industry Certifications

  • Students will have the opportunity to earn industry certifications in the program

Program Requirements & Related Costs

  • Cosmetology Ki | Approximate $200, plus tax
  • CTE Program Lab Jacket (w/kit)
  • Rubber soled, closed-toe shoes that cover the foot
  • Mandatory parent/new student meeting with instructor
  • State Board of Cosmetology Written Exam | Approximately $150.00

Clinical

  • Clinic open to public

Cooperative Education

  • Students who meet all requirements including teacher recommendation, grades, attendance, and discipline record
  • Students must provide their own transportation to and from the job site
