LCTI welcomes 25 new students to NTHS chapter

Garrett Jones, a sophomore in LCTI’s Print Technology program, was one of 25 students inducted into the National Technical Honor Society during a Dec. 7, 2022 ceremony.

SCHNECKSVILE, Pa. | Lehigh Career & Technical Institute on Wednesday (Dec. 7) welcomed 25 new students to the school’s National Technical Honor Society chapter.

The students, whose stellar grades and dedication to career and technical education earned each of them a place in the exclusive organization, were feted during an induction ceremony attended by their families and friends. Principals or other administrators from the students’ sending high schools were on hand for the event, as well.

Membership in the NTHS is highly competitive; students must maintain a grade average of 90 percent or better to be considered for induction. This year’s inductees were selected from a pool of roughly 50 nominees.

That so many made the cut this year is a testament to the high quality of LCTI’s student body, Executive Lisa Greenawalt said. “This is our largest class of inductees in the history of LCTI. We’re so proud of you and your achievements.”

The 2022 inductees hail from 10 Lehigh County high schools and represent eight of LCTI’s nine school districts. They are:
