LCTI celebrates Class of 2015

LCTI celebrated the Class of 2015 during several special events in May.

SCHNECKSVILLE, Pa. | Lehigh Career & Technical Institute celebrated the Class of 2015 last spring during a series of special events held on the school’s campus and elsewhere in the Lehigh County community.

First, full-day students’ achievements were lauded in May at the annual Academic Senior Breakfast in LCTI’s cafeteria.

Later that month, school teachers and staff honored both full- and half-day students during Senior Recognition Night. The annual event, held this year at Parkland High School in South Whitehall Township, was emceed by bilingual coordinator Martha Figueroa and social studies teacher Jack Loeper; Lehigh Valley Workforce Investment Board Executive Director Nancy Dischinat delivered the keynote address.

Also in May, LCTI said goodbye and good luck to 57 graduating seniors who participated in the Emerging Health Professionals Program. The program provides students with opportunities to shadow health professionals at facilities throughout the region, plus earn credits from Penn State Lehigh Valley and Lehigh Carbon Community College.
