SCHNECKSVILLE, Pa. | Lehigh Career & Technical Institute hosted the MHI CTE Educators Summit from Monday, July 11 to Friday, July 15. High school and college educators from all over the country gathered in the Lehigh Valley to attend the summit, which was sponsored by MHI, the nation’s largest material handling, logistics and supply chain association.
Summit attendees spent the week learning about the latest instructional materials, teaching techniques and partnership opportunities in the area of material handling, logistics, and supply chain management. They also visited several of the region’s manufacturing and warehousing facilities, including Martin Guitar in Upper Nazareth Township and Ocean Spray in Upper Macungie Township
On Wednesday, educators toured LCTI’s Distribution Center, a fully operational, student-run facility, and participated in a town hall meeting featuring the following Lehigh Valley business and education leaders:
