LCTI students create Halloween ornaments for senior citizens

Halloween Ornaments for Fellowship ManorSchnecksville, Pa. | Autumn is here and Halloween is around the corner, so Lehigh Career & Technical Institute staff and students are celebrating the spooky season by serving others.

Students from LCTI’s Early Care & Education of Young Children and SOC Hospitality programs this week teamed up to make autumn- and Halloween-themed ornaments for residents of Fellowship Manor, a senior living facility in Whitehall Township. They created dozens of hand-sewn ornaments that their teachers will deliver to Fellowship Manor later this week. The ornaments are magnetized, so residents can easily display them in their rooms.

The folks at Fellowship Manor look forward to the Halloween treat every year. Students also plan to make holiday ornaments for residents.
