Painting & Decorating students showed off their skill and artistry in LCTI’s Pumpkin Decorating Contest.

SCHNECKSVILLE, Pa. | Lehigh Career & Technical Institute’s Painting & Decorating students showed off their creativity, skill and seasonal spirit this October by decorating pumpkins!

They created pumpkins that paid homage to their favorite animated characters, Halloween horror films and autumn landscapes for a pumpkin decorating contest decided by LCTI’s students, teachers and administrators.

Entries from Painting & Decorating students in LCTI’s morning and afternoon sessions were judged in three categories: Most Creative Pumpkin, Scariest Pumpkin and Best Overall Pumpkin. The pumpkins were displayed in the school’s Main Office lobby Oct. 17-21; staff and students cast their votes online by scanning a QR codes posted near the display.

The winners are…

MORNING SESSION

Most Creative: Jocelyn Torres

Scariest: Jocelyn Torres & Xavier Rodriguez

Best Overall: Jocelyn Torres

AFTERNOON SESSION

Most Creative: Kendyl Thomas

Scariest: Jahneil Elvin

Best Overall: Gileon Scholl

All of the entrants’ pumpkins are now displayed across campus, enhancing the school’s fall decor.

Kudos to all of the pumpkin decorating contest entrants and congratulations to the winners!
