SCHNECKSVILLE, Pa. | Students from several Lehigh Career & Technical Institute programs teamed up last week to make holiday cards, ornaments and cookies for local nursing home residents.

Led by instructor Alyssia Wechsler, SOC Hospitality Services students baked enough cookies for all 130 residents of the Sacred Heart Senior Living facility in Northampton.

Students from the Administrative Office Technology/Accounting and CAP Administrative Office Technology/Accounting programs, led by Elaine Beam and Ann Blacker, respectively, created holiday cards for them.

Early Care & Education of Young Children students, whose teachers are Linda Stankas and Donna Lobach-Berger, worked together to make candy cane mice and felt gingerbread men for the residents.
