SCHNECKSVILLE, Pa. | Seven Lehigh Career & Technical Institute staffers retired in 2018-2019 after decades spent serving the school.

LCTI honored the five teachers and two administrators Wednesday during the monthly Joint Operating Committee meeting. Executive Director Tim Rushton and Director of Career & Technical Education Kurt Adam presented Bulova watches bearing the school logo to retirees on hand for the event.

The 2018-2019 retirees are:

• Administrative Office Technology/Accounting teacher Elaine Beam, who joined the school staff in August 2003.
• Academic Center teacher James Bennett, who joined the school staff in October 1988.
• Criminal Justice teacher Claude Kohl, who joined the school staff in August 2007.
• Facilities Engineer Dan Kotran, who joined the school staff in January 1998.
• Supervisor of Technology Stan Nestor, who joined the school staff in November 2003.
• Diesel Medium & Heavy Truck Technology teacher Randy Schock, who joined the school staff in August 1999.
• Early Care & Education of Young Children teacher Linda Stankas, who joined the school staff in September 1988.
