LCTI is celebrating Red Ribbon Week

SCHNECKSVILLE, Pa. | Lehigh Career & Technical Institute is celebrating Red Ribbon Week 2019 with Spirit Days, daily prize drawings and a door decorating contest.

The Red Ribbon Campaign is America’s oldest and largest drug prevention program and Red Ribbon Week is a great way for communities to unite and take a visible stand against drugs. This year’s theme is “Send a message. Stay drug free.”

Red Ribbon Week runs Oct. 23-31, but LCTI is celebrating it Oct. 21-25. Students from the school’s Marketing & Business Education program planned all of the week’s activities.

Four groups of  three students presented their Red Ribbon Week ideas to a panel of school staff members who served as judges. Based on the strength of their ideas and presentation, the following group of students were chosen to serve as project managers: Marilyn Arzate, Jeremy Bautista and Katlyn Bilder.

Congratulations, Marilyn, Jeremy and Katlyn!
