Pedro Ortiz

ALLENTOWN, Pa. | The West Allentown Rotary Club recently named Lehigh Career & Technical Institute senior Pedro Ortiz the organization’s Student of the Month for October.

Ortiz is a William Allen High School student in LCTI’s Plumbing & Heating program, as well as the Academic Center. He serves as a SkillsUSA president, volunteers with LCTI’s peer tutoring program and also assists peers who are English language learners.

Rotary club representatives presented Ortiz with the Student of the Month award on Wednesday (Oct. 25) during a morning ceremony at the Luther Crest Senior Living facility.
