Who are you and what’s your role at LCTI?

My name is Mr. Gordon and I’m the Computer & Networking Technology teacher at Lehigh Career & Technical Institute.

What’s your educational background?

I have an associate degree in information technology from ECPI University, a bachelor’s degree in information security from Regent University and a master’s degree in cybersecurity from Regent University. I also have A+ and Network+ certifications from CompTIA, an information security administrator certification from the U.S. Army and a systems administrator certification from Microsoft.

What’s your professional background?

I have more than 35 years of experience in computer repair, network engineering and information security, including time served in the military and working for Dell, HP, Citibank and the Pennsylvania Department of State.

What’s your claim to fame?

After retiring from the military, I earned my master’s degree in cybersecurity.

What do you love about working at LCTI?

I love working with the kids. Seeing them advance further than they thought they could is the best feeling ever. I also have the best colleagues anyone could ever hope to work with.
