My name is Mr. Schock and I’m a Precision Machine Tool Technology teacher at Lehigh Career & Technical Institute.
I’m an alumnus of Whitehall High School and Lehigh Career & Technical Institute, where I studied welding. I have an associate degrees in welding technology and tool making technology, both from Pennsylvania College of Technology.
I have my Career and Technical Instructional I Certificate and am working on my Career and Technical Instructional II Certificate at Temple University.
I spent 10 years as a tool and die maker and welder with Phoenix Hotform and five years as a master scheduler for Valmont Newmark. I taught at Bethlehem Area Vocational Technical School for two years before joining LCTI’s faculty.
I’m very proud of the fact that five of my students qualified to compete at the SkillsUSA state competition last year and 13 of my students participated the district-level contest.
We have great students and some of the best equipment to work with in the state.
