Our transportation course offerings include:

CDL/A & CDL/B

Students learn to drive big rigs and other trucks as they earn a commercial driver’s license. LCTI is the only area school that offers one student / one truck CDL training, a teaching technique designed to maximize student time behind the wheel.

Forklift

Students learn to operate forklifts, other industrial trucks and a variety of high-tech equipment that’s standard in modern fulfillment centers. Their classroom? It’s a fully functional, 22,000-square-foot distribution and transportation center.

Combinations

Students pair forklift and logistics training with their choice of CDL/A or CDL/B training in this combination course. Learning a variety of skills leads to more opportunities for employment and advancement in the Transportation, Distribution & Logistics field.

Many of our courses are offered on weekday evenings and weekends, so adult students can meet their personal obligations while pursuing professional goals. Plus, LCTI offers scholarships for students facing financial hardship due to the coronavirus pandemic and we’re approved for a variety of financial aid sources.
