SCHNECKSVILLE, Pa. | We said goodbye to the Emerging Health Professionals Class of 2016 in May and now it’s time to welcome a new crop of seniors.

LCTI instructors on Tuesday, June 7 met with students selected for admission to the 2017 program during an orientation in the school’s Small Cafeteria.

Fifty-three seniors from 10 Lehigh County high schools successfully applied for the program, which exposes students to career and technical education and allows them to shadow medical professionals while they earn credits from either Lehigh Carbon Community College or Penn State Lehigh Valley.

Students and their parents were invited to the orientation, where in addition to meeting LCTI’s education partners from Lehigh Valley Health Network, LCCC and Penn State, seniors were fitted for their lab coats!
