LCTI students win scholarships at automotive competition

EXTON, Pa. | Working as a team, two Lehigh Career & Technical Institute students each earned $10,000 scholarships for Universal Technical Institute.

Ryan Fink, of Northwestern Lehigh High School, and Peter Marino, of Whitehall High School placed sixth Saturday (Dec. 1, 2018) in an automotive competition hosted by UTI. Fink, a senior, and Marino, a junior, are students in LCTI’s Auto Technology program.

The duo competed against more than 70 teams at the annual event, which drew participants from five states. The competition called for written as well as hands-on testing with vehicle parts.

Congratulations to Peter, Ryan and their teachers. Great job!
