Who are you and what’s your role at LCTI?

My name is Mr. Jacobs and I’m a Precision Machine Tool Technology teacher at Lehigh Career & Technical Institute.

What’s your educational background?

I have 11 National Institute of Metalworking Skills certifications and I’m working on my Vocational Instructional 2 Certification. I graduated from Parkland High School and attended Penn Tech.

What’s your professional background?

I’ve spent 25 years in the precision machine industry, including as tool and die shop supervisor. I taught for two years at Reading Muhlenberg Career & Technology Center before joining LCTI’s teaching staff five years ago.

What’s your claim to fame?

I’m proud of being NIMS certified and a father to two great children.

What do you love about working at LCTI?

I love watching students learn and grow in a great profession.
