Students from LCTI’s education programs traveled to State College recently for their first ever Pennsylvania Educators Rising Conference.

Lehigh Career & Technical Institute’s Educators Rising chapter won its first-ever award this spring for the activities student members organized to mark Random Acts of Kindness Week and Read Across America Week.

Students were presented with the Outstanding Chapter Event award March 28 during the Pennsylvania Educators Rising State Conference at Penn State.

Educators Rising is LCTI’s newest career and technical student organization. This is the first time chapter members, who are in the Future Educators and Teacher Education programs at LCTI, attended and vied for an award at the state conference.
