Eleven LCTI students medal at SkillsUSA states
Twenty-two students from LCTI traveled to Hershey, Pa. for the SkillsUSA Pennsylvania State Leadership & Skills Conference.
Eleven Lehigh Career & Technical Institute students won medals in seven contests this week (April 3-5, 2024) at the SkillsUSA Pennsylvania State Leadership & Skills Conference in Hershey, Pa. Two medalists — Brayden Arnold and Nicholas Krum — struck gold, qualifying to compete at SkillsUSA nationals June 24-28 in Atlanta, Ga.
Arnold, of Northern Lehigh High School, finished first in Motorcycle Service Technology, while Northwestern Lehigh High School’s Krum topped the podium in Heavy Equipment. The boys are students in LCTI’s Small Engines/Recreational Vehicle Repair and Heavy Equipment Operations & Preventive Maintenance programs.
