Familiar faces, changing roles

SCHNECKSVILLE, Pa. | Several Lehigh Career & Technical Institute teachers are taking on new roles at the school this fall.

  • Mr. Jeff Doll and Ms. Donna Lobach traded places. She’s teaching LCTI’s SOC Indoor/Outdoor Maintenance program and he’ll oversee the BRIDGE work experience program.
  • Mr. Randy Eck previously taught first-year students for the Supply Chain Management & Logistics Technology program. Now, he’s leading a new Supply Chain program for Career Academy students.
  • Mr. Michael Monkiewicz took over the Electrical Technology program, replacing Louis Pachella. He previously taught the Electrical Technology program for Career Academy students.
  • Ms. Charlene Rarick-Knauss joined Nikki Stanley as a Teacher Education instructor. Ms. Rarick-Knauss previously taught Wellness/Fitness in the Academic Center. She’s replaced Jennifer Van Syckle.
  • Career Academy academic teacher Mr. Joshua Zimmerman took over LCTI’s Engineering Drafting & Design program from Christopher Ruben.

Mr. Pachella, Mr. Ruben and Ms. VanSyckle resigned this summer to pursue other career opportunities. We wish them well.
