LCTI’s annual Open House for prospective students is almost here! Join us from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 20 at the school’s 4500 Education Park Drive campus in Schnecksville.

1. Start in the Main Lobby

If you RSVP’d, be sure to start Thursday’s visit in the Main Lobby. There, you can pick up:

• your student’s free T-shirt
• their ticket for our iPad drawing
• a school map that will help you navigate (& collect prizes )
• information about your student’s program of interest

The Main Lobby is a good place to be if you want to know more about LCTI’s technical programs, the Academic Center, scheduling and much more. Our school counselors will be posted there to answer your questions.

And if you didn’t RSVP, don’t worry. You’re still welcome to attend and explore LCTI on Thursday night. Just head to the Main Lobby, pick up a map and choose your own adventure.

2. Explore LCTI’s classrooms

After that, explore LCTI at your leisure.

Check the school map, then go see our classrooms, meet our teachers, and find out why technical education is the smart choice for students who want to maximize their opportunities in high school. Don’t forget to collect “passport stamps” in the classrooms you visit.

3. Attend 7:30 info session

By about 7:15 p.m., start making your way back to the Main Lobby, which leads directly into our Large Cafeteria. Grab a seat for our general information session, which is scheduled at 7:30 p.m.

The session, led by LCTI outreach coordinator Ms. Fallon, will help you understand why career and technical education is awesome and how it helps students achieve during AND after high school. At 7:45 p.m., Ms. Fallon will announce the iPad drawing winner. Be sure to stick around; students must be present to win.
