Lehigh Valley Health Network Joseph Sipko

Emerging Health Professionals alumnus Joseph Sipko is a student in Lehigh Valley Health Network’s SELECT program.

Emerging Health Professionals alumnus Joseph Sipko is back in the Lehigh Valley for the second half of his four-year stint as a SELECT medical student.

SELECT is a medical education program created by the University of South Florida and Lehigh Valley Health Network. Students spend two years studying at USF Health Morsani College of Medicine in Tampa, Florida, followed by two years studying at LVHN.

Sipko, a Whitehall Township native, learned about select while he was a student in Lehigh Career & Technical Institute’s EHP program seven years ago.

“I was exposed to the program during my time in EHP and was inspired by the SELECT medical students I met while at LVHN,” he said in an interview published last month in LVHN’s newsletter. “I couldn’t ask for a better pairing between USF and LVHN for my medical education.”
