LCTI team places second at auto dealers competition

Reid Scharer and Christian Roth recently placed second at the annual GLVADA Automotive Skills Competition.

Two Emmaus High School seniors in the Auto Technology program at LCTI recently teamed up to win second place at a skills contest. Reid Scharer and Christian Roth participated Saturday in the annual Greater Lehigh Valley Auto Dealers Association Automotive Skills Competition.

Along with an impressive trophy, Reid and Christian each won hand tools and a partial scholarship for Universal Technical Institute. Both teens participate in LCTI’s cooperative education program, with Reid working at Rothrock Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram and Christian working at Scott Chevrolet.
