SCHNECKSVILLE, Pa. | At Lehigh Career & Technical Institute, students learn by doing. For those in our SOC Indoor/Outdoor Maintenance program, that means working to beautify LCTI’s 47-acre campus in North Whitehall Township.

Under the direction of instructor Jeff Doll, students have spent this fall practicing their skills by tackling a variety of landscaping projects that require simple tools, like shovels and rakes, as well as more complex tools, such as trimmers and rototillers.

Students in our SOC Building Trades Maintenance program also are busy on campus. Led by instructor, they recently used their knowledge of carpentry to replace the seat of a bench near LCTI’s main entrance.
