Who are you and what’s your role at LCTI?

My name is Mr. Ferenchak and I’m an Auto Technology teacher at Lehigh Career & Technical Institute.

What’s your educational background?

I have an associate degree in automotive technology from Northampton Community College, I am an ASE Certified Master Technician and a PA State Safety and Emissions Inspector.

What’s your professional background?

I served as a General Motors master technician and shop foreman at Kelly Buick-GMC and Saturn of Route 33, an automotive technician at Scott Chevrolet and a technician at Sears Auto Center.

What’s your claim to fame?

I’ve spent years coaching youths softball, baseball and soccer, watching young athletes be active and grow in the sport they love.

What do you love about working at LCTI?

I enjoy watching students learn and expand their skills in the Auto Tech trade. But I especially love running into former students who have established their career and are successfully making a name for themselves in the automotive industry.
