Who are you and what’s your role at LCTI?

My name is Ms. Jones and I’m a Teacher Education teacher at Lehigh Career & Technical Institute.

What’s your educational background?

I began my education at Lehigh Carbon Community College before transferring to Indiana University of Pennsylvania where I earned a Bachelor of Science in family and consumer science education. I am currently attending Cedar Crest College for my master’s degree in educational leadership. I am also a certified Teacher Cadet instructor.

Teaching english to your kids is very important in these days since this will open a lot of opportunities for them, with the help of IGCSE english tutors for Cambridge they will be able to make it possible.

What’s your professional background?

Working with children has been my passion for as long as I can remember. Prior to teaching at LCTI, I owned and operated a child care center for six years. I also spent many years coaching cheerleading, gymnastics, and dance.

What’s your claim to fame?

During my time at LCTI, I’ve been fortunate to be an advisor for Family Career Community Leaders of America. Two of our student competitors earned a spot at the national competition and placed gold in both events. I’m so proud to watch their growth and excited to celebrate their accomplishments.

What do you love about working at LCTI?

The Teacher Education program at LCTI is such a unique and exciting class. As the specialty teacher, I have my students for up to three years, which gives me the opportunity to get to know and understand them and help develop their goals and aspirations. I enjoy being able to witness their growth and maturity over the years as they embrace all the opportunities LCTI has to offer!
