Who are you and what’s your role at LCTI?

My name is Ms. Mueller and I’m a Teacher Education teacher at Lehigh Career & Technical Institute.

What’s your educational background?

My educational background is in elementary education and family and consumer services.

What’s your professional background?

I have been a teacher since 2002. I obtained certificates in Pennsylvania, North Carolina and Florida to work in an elementary classroom. I later earned a family and consumer sciences certificate and began working in a high school setting. I am currently working toward a master’s degree in curriculum and instruction.

What’s your claim to fame?

I have worked with a variety of age groups and abilities in a range of school settings. That has made me well rounded and appreciative of resources and students.

What do you love about working at LCTI?

I like that LCTI provides students with outstanding educators that teach the necessary skills to enter today’s ever-changing workforce. The sense of community is undeniable and I am happy to be a part of this effective team.
