SCHNECKSVILLE, Pa. | For the second year in a row, one of Monster Jam’s massive trucks made a pit stop at Lehigh Career & Technical Institute before a performance at Allentown’s PPL Center.

A green and blue behemoth know as Stinger spent Thursday (March 31) in LCTI’s Diesel Medium & Heavy Truck Technology lab, where program students chatted with the vehicle’s crew chief, Buddy Young. Young explained what it takes to keep Stinger, driven by Zane Rettew, and comparably sized vehicles roaring and ready to go for fans night after night.

In addition to knowledge and experiences, Monster Jam representatives shared $5-off coupons with LCTI students interested in attending one of the outfit’s weekend shows. Monster Jam performances are slated Friday, Saturday and Sunday (April 1-3) at the hockey arena.

Last year, Monster Mutt Dalmatian and Northern Nightmare visited LCTI before the Monster Jam shows in Allentown.
