Mark your calendars and sharpen your pencils. The first ACTs and SATs of the 2018-19 school year are just around the corner. Most colleges and universities require that students seeking admission take one of these standardized tests.

The 2018-19 ACT dates and registration deadlines are as follows:

Test date: Oct. 27 | Registration deadline: Sept. 28

Test date: Dec. 8 | Registration deadline: Nov. 2

Test date: Feb. 9 | Registration deadline: Jan. 11

Test date: April 13 | Registration deadline: March 8

Test date: June 8 | Registration deadline: May 3
