Student wins another SkillsUSA gold for LCTI

Brayden Arnold poses with SkillsUSA gold medal he won

Brayden Arnold, a Northern Lehigh student in the Small Engines/Recreational Vehicle Repair program, won gold in his SkillsUSA District 11 Championships event.

Lehigh Career & Technical Institute just notched another SkillsUSA District 11 Championship win thanks to Brayden Arnold.

The 18-year-old Northern Lehigh High School senior won a gold medal Wednesday (Feb. 7, 2024) in the Motorcycle Service Technology contest at Pocono Mountain Harley Davidson. As the first-place finisher, he qualified to compete this spring at the SkillsUSA state conference in Hershey, Pa.

Sixteen other LCTI students won gold when most contests were held on Jan. 24 at Allentown’s Agri∼Plex. They’ll join Arnold, a Small Engines/Recreational Vehicle Repair student, at states in April. The Motorcycle Service Technology contest was held after other district events because of a scheduling conflict.

Congratulations on your gold medal finish, Brayden!
