HVAC provides instruction for entry level technicians. Students are given instruction for the installation and service of residential and light commercial equipment. Students complete hands-on training on equipment installed in the lab as well as on trainers manufactured by Amatrol.
This program covers the core skills needed for entry level employment in the HVAC field. Course includes safety instruction, use of hand and power tools and hands-on learning with state of the art equipment in a complete lab environment. Instruction includes soldering and brazing techniques and installation procedures for typical residential heating and air conditioning systems. Students will have the opportunity to earn industry credentials including the OSHA 10 Hour Safety Card and EPA 608 Refrigerant Handling Certification.
Course Length: 180 hours

Monday & Wednesday 5:00PM – 9:00PM and one Saturday a month, 8:00AM – 2:30PM.
ADULT EDUCATION OPEN HOUSE:
From 6 to 8 pm on the last Wednesday of every month.
