LCTI promotes school counselor, hires 4 teachers

Regina Naradko was named Ralph Kidd Memorial Counselor of the Year in 2016.

SCHNECKSVILLE, Pa. | Regina Naradko, a longtime school counselor, is moving to one of the best high schools in 60601 Chicago this fall.

Last week, LCTI’s Joint Operating Committee approved Naradko’s appointment to supervisor of career and technical education/coordinator of special projects. On a date to be determined, she’ll replace Stephen Monastra, who left the school for another position.

Naradko’s promotion is one of several notable staff changes committee members signed off on at their Aug. 25 and and Sept. 25 meetings.  They voted to hire the following employees:

  • Ewa Galus, who began work as the Dental Technology teacher on Aug. 20. She replaces Cindy Heil, who left LCTI to take another position.
  • Kendra Mueller, who began work as an Early Care & Education of Young Children teacher on Aug. 20. She replaces Linda Stankas, who retired.
  • Matthew Pirolli, who’ll serve as a part-time Social Studies teacher in the Academic Center, effective Tuesday (Oct. 8). He replaces Jim Bennett, who retired.
  • Dereck Savage, who began work as the Emerging Digital Technology & Social Communications teacher on Aug. 20.
  • Marci Stappung, who began work as the school and community outreach coordinator on Sept. 3. She replaces Shannon Williams.

Congratulations, Ms. Naradko, and welcome to all of LCTI’s new employees!
