Applicant must complete the lecture course, pass a written test and satisfactorily perform a complete inspection of a vehicle. Upon successful completion of these requirements, the applicant will receive a safety inspection certification card in approximately six to eight weeks from the ending class date. An optional three hour tools class that provides hands-on use of measuring tools used for the state inspection is also available.
