ALLENTOWN, Pa. | Lehigh Career & Technical Institute’s Career Academy program, or CAP, is designed with the goal of helping students overcome challenges and meet their full potential. Seniors who embrace that goal leave LCTI primed for success in the next stage of their lives.
The 2023 Outstanding CAP Senior Award winner is Nicholas Borsevich. Student Services Director Sean Will honored the Upper Macungie Township resident on Wednesday (May 31, 2023) at PPL Center during the school’s Class of 2023 Senior Recognition Night. The prestigious, schoolwide award is one of six presented at the ceremony.
Nicholas is a Parkland High School student in LCTI’s Masonry program. The 17-year-old’s teacher, Garrett Tweed, describes him as an enthusiastic team player who is always willing to help out his peers. Nicholas’ English teacher, Marc Bonani, says his excellent grades set him apart and set a great example for younger students in the Career Academy program.
Nicholas is a past SkillsUSA competitor, serves as a student ambassador for Masonry, and is his program’s outstanding career and technical education senior for 2023.
Mr. Tweed says he’s confident Nicholas will find success in the construction trades or any career path he chooses to follow.
