LCTI alumni Brandon Schappell and Daria Greb are set to wed on Oct. 17, 2025
They met more than a decade ago at Lehigh Career & Technical Institute, Daria Greb recalls.
Daria is an instructional assistant at LCTI today, but back then she was a Commercial Baking student who helped staff the school bakery.
Brandon Schappell was an Auto Technology student who visited the bakery every day to buy sweet treats … and flirt with Daria.
Eventually, their flirting progressed to the school bus. One afternoon on the ride home from LCTI, they exchanged phone numbers. Soon, they’re going to exchange vows.
The happy couple is set to marry during a ceremony at The Barn at Walnut Grove on Friday (Oct. 17, 2025).
Even though they both attended Emmaus High School, “I don’t think we would have met if we had not gone to LCTI. I had no clue who he was before that,” Daria says.
The 27-year-old is grateful for the role LCTI has played in their personal and professional lives over the years.
Daria’s experience in the Commercial Baking program inspired her to return to the school as a paraprofessional. And Brandon, now 28, is a master technician for Lehigh Valley Honda. He began working at the dealership in high school through LCTI’s cooperative education program.
A lot has changed since Daria and Brandon met in 2013, but LCTI has remained a positive constant.
Congratulations and best wishes to the happy couple!
