Program Safety & Physical Considerations
- Ability for prolonged standing, bending, stooping, walking, running, and sitting on the floor and in a child-sized chair
- Normal physical health and personal cleanliness important
- Ability to negotiate the classroom environment
- Ability to sit in close proximity to children
- Ability to lift 30 pounds
- Ability to work with young children’s bodily fluids and the exposure to possible diseases
- Ability to use tools of the trade (computers, scanners, copiers, curricular guides, and maps, etc.)

Reading & Language Arts Levels
- College Prep Reading and Language Arts
- Oral and written communication skills
- Technical writing skills
Math Level
- Basic math skills
- Ability to use numerical data (count, measure, compute, calculate fractions, ratios, whole numbers, formulas)
End of Year – 12th Grade Assessment Test

Industry Certifications
- Students will have the opportunity to earn industry certifications in the program

Cooperative Education
- Students who meet all the requirements, including teacher recommendation, grades, attendance, and discipline record
- Students must provide their own transportation to and from the job site
