Early on in her high school career, Daphne Ziegenfus says she spent most days bored and unengaged. That changed after she was exposed to the Plumbing & Heating program at Lehigh Career & Technical Institute.

Daphne’s mother, Marcie Ziegenfus, says choosing to attend LCTI opened her daughter’s eyes to all the opportunity ahead of her. “She went in there as a follower. She came out a leader.”

The latest episode of Pfister Faucets’ YouTube series, American Plumber Stories, follows Daphne on her nontraditional career path. Now a plumbing technician at Bethlehem-based Deluxe Plumbing & Heating, her ultimate goal is to become a master plumber. Watch the video below.
