My name is Chef Cahoon and I’m the Culinary Arts teacher at Lehigh Career & Technical Institute.
I have an MBA in finance from Louisiana State University Shreveport, a B.A. in English and philosophy from Bloomsburg University and an A.A.S. in culinary arts from Penn College of Technology. I am an American Culinary Federation certified executive chef, a certified dietary manager, a certified food protection professional and a personal care home administrator.
I served as a director of food service operations for seven years, an
executive chef for three years and a chef for 16 years.
Professionally, I’m proud of being a go-to chef for cooking demonstrations on WFMZ-TV 69 News and obtaining my executive chef certification from ACF. Professionally, I’m proud of my son and the time I spend with him.
I love watching students have an “aha” moment.
