Who are you and what’s your role at LCTI?

My name is Ms. Kiechel and I’m an Exercise Science & Rehabilitation Services teacher at Lehigh Career & Technical Institute.

What’s your educational background?

I have a bachelor’s degree in exercise sport science and I’m a certified athletic trainer and licensed athletic trainer.

What’s your professional background?

I’ve been a certified athletic trainer since 2005. I served as the head athletic trainer for Brandywine Heights Area School District for 12 years and the assistant athletic trainer at Pocono Mountain East School District for two years.

What’s your claim to fame?

I loved helping all of my athletes return to the sports they worked so hard at, especially on the days that my own children were able to come watch my “other kids” play in a game or match.

What do you love about working at LCTI?

I love interacting with students in my program and watching them progress from a Level 1 through their remaining years at LCTI. And, of course, I also love working with my awesome fellow staff members.
