Painting students bring ‘Stranger Things’ to life

Painting & Design students recreated scenes from the Netflix show “Stranger Things.”

SCHNECKSVILLE, Pa. — For the second consecutive year, the unofficial award for Best Open House Classroom Transformation goes to Mr. Lyons and his Painting & Design students.  Lehigh Career & Technical Institute hosted the school’s annual Open House for prospective students on Thursday, Nov. 20.

Inspired by Netflix’s hit series “Stranger Things,” students used their technical skills to recreate memorable sites from the show’s fictional town of Hawkins, Indiana, for the event. Ahead of last year’s Open House, Painting students recreated scenes from the classic music video for A-ha’s hit song, “Take On Me.”

This is how we innovate! #weinnovate
