Three LCTI students earn medals at SkillsUSA competition

Paige Knowles competed this month at the SkillsUSA Pennsylvania State Leadership Conference in Hershey.

Three Lehigh Career & Technical Institute students brought home medals last week from the SkillsUSA Pennsylvania State Leadership Conference in Hershey. They were among thousands of competitors who participated in the contest held April 10-12 at Hershey Lodge & Convention Center.

Paige Knowles, a Parkland High School student in LCTI’s Plumbing & Heating program, placed second in the Plumbing event.

Luis Solano, a Parkland student in LCTI’s Auto Body/Collision Repair Technology program, earned third place in the Automotive Refinishing event.

Jonathan Fink, a Parkland student in LCTI’s Heavy Equipment Operations & Preventive Maintenance program, placed third in the Heavy Equipment Operations event.
