ALLENTOWN, Pa. | Lehigh Career & Technical Institute celebrated the Class of 2023 and the school’s 50th anniversary Wednesday (May 31) during its annual Senior Recognition Night ceremony at PPL Center.

It was a memorable evening that featured the debut of LCTI’s Class of 2023 videos, as well as remarks from four student speakers and Dr. Lisa Greenawalt, the school’s executive director. Administrators and teachers also presented trophies, certificates of award, and certificates of recognition to seniors at the ceremony.

LCTI’s administrators presented schoolwide awards to the following six seniors:

• Career & Technical Student Organization Leadership Award winner Kimberly Castillo is a Parkland High School student in the Health & Medical Sciences program. Learn more about Kimberly and the award.
• Outstanding Career Academy Program Senior Award winner Nicholas Borsevich is a Parkland High School student in the Masonry program. Learn more about Nicholas and the award.
• Outstanding Academic Center Senior Award winner Austin Ebeling is an Emmaus High School student in the Web Design/Web Programming program. Learn more about Austin and the award.

Each of the evening’s four student speakers reflected on their experience at LCTI, why it was special, and how it prepared them for the next chapter of their lives. The student speakers were:

• Josif Osmanovic, a Marketing & Entrepreneurship student from Parkland High School
